Herbal Plants: Medicine that helps you to stay fit and healthy in the longer run


We all lead a mechanical life where our sole focus remains only on how to earn money which has ultimately led us to be less health conscious indirectly taking a heavy toll on our lives.
   
The main reason companies all around the world offer their employees sick leave as part of the annual leave list is because they know the importance of rest that a human body requires once in a while as a result of the tireless work performed day in and day out.    

There will be days when an employee might fall sick as a result of fever, headache, cold, ulcer, etc. The list might go endless. 

The major factor behind these illnesses is due to our very own lethargicness and lack of health consciousness. Employees nowadays are more focused and driven towards work that even goes to an extent where they end up skipping a day’s meal. Every time you visit a doctor they remind us that no work is more important than your intake of food. But time and again we fail to implement it in our day to day life.

Every human needs to consume about two liters of water every day for efficient functioning of our body, but how many of us consume the said liters of water. By not doing so, it only leads to dehydration of our body.

The surrounding we are part of is polluted to say the least. Once again no one is to be blamed for it except ourselves. Breathing fresh air is something that the current generation is devoid of.  And not to mention the western food we consume every other day that create an imbalance in our bodies’ ecosystem.

We live in a world where we can’t avoid the above stated but we can try to fight against them in a healthy way.  Yes, I am speaking about the most efficient medicine that will help our body regain our lot health and refine our immune system to fight all sorts of diseases and health related Issues.      

It’s definitely not the English medicine, but the natural herbs that have kept our grandparents healthy even in their 90’s. Do you ever wonder why our grandparent used to consume mint leaves in the morning and betel leave after their food? There is a reason to take in those herbal leaves. They have the natural ability to improve digestion.        

But the current generations folks have follow a myth of drinking carbonated water after consuming food. They feel that it will help in their digestion. But do you think drinking carbonated water is good for our health? Definitely not!!!

If one notices carefully every medicine comes with a warning sign that states “To be sold by retail on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only” and “dosage: as directed by physician. “ 

All English medicine comes with a regulation of usage.  But when it comes to natural herbals that not the case. When one visits a medical shop he/she can find herbal products like Amla juices, Centella (வல்லாரை கீரை), Solanum Trilobatum (தூதுவளை) candy as part of modern medicine. Even from looking at a cost point of perspective herbal products are much cheaper and more efficient than modern medicines.   

With everything being said this post is not to blame or demote the efficiency of English medicines but to tell the importance and benefits of consuming natural herbals that helps you to stay fit and healthy in the longer run.
