Ashwagandha (Winter cherry of Indian ginseng)


Ashwagandha is an Ayurvedic herb, which offers numerous health benefits.

Ashwagandha literally means "horse's smell" in Sanskrit(Ashwa - Horse and gandha is smell).
The different parts of the ashwagandha plant have various medicinal purposes. The ashwagandha leaves are used to help treat fever, swelling and inflammation of the eye.
Ashwagandha root is used to treat ulcers.

This herb enhances the function of the brain and nervous system and improves the memory.
