Our skin is a living, breathing organ and plays a vital role to protect your health. Your skin is a protective shield for your muscles and its defence against harmful substances.
It also excretes waste products and excess salts from your body through sweat. Your skin has very tiny holes which are infinity in the count, absorb good substances like Vitamin D from Sun and essential oils.
We spoil our such a precious skin by using the chemical shower in our day to day life. Isn't it?
Yes. Your daily bath Soap is a toxic chemical which harms your skin. I want to share my some personal experience about soap bars.
When I was a kid, I have attended a workshop which demonstrated how to prepare soap from Neem oil.
The ingredients which are used to prepare soap are
1. Neem oil
2. Artificial coloring agents
3. Caustic Soda
The experimenter prepared the soap within two hours by boiling the ingredients and moulded it in some cup shape. The experimenter advised that it needs to pass some test after that we can use this for a bath. On that day I don't have much knowledge about the ingredients he added. Recently I have searched the usage of caustic soda and I was getting shocked.
Caustic Soda (NaOH) is also known as Sodium Hydroxide and Iye. It is usually used to strip the paint. It is highly corrosive. Without this element, it is not possible to make a bath soap.
Anyway, it is chemical only right, it contains full of chemical substances.
Think wise, what will happen if this chemical is absorbed by your skin. You can not feel the harms of these chemicals, but slowly it may cause some illness to your body like itchness, rashes and etc.,
To hide this cause, soap making companies can come with lots of variety names for this substance in their Ingredients list.
I mention some variety names of this Iye (Sodium Hydroxide).
1. Sodium Laurenth Sulfate
2. Sodium Palmate
3. Sodium Lauroyl Isethionate
4. Sodium Palm Kernelate
Some of them may used to say like even though we are using chemicals for making bath soap after chemical reaction(Saponification) it is totally turned to be new substance and there is no chemicals present in that substance.
